At OSCE, we provide frequent training to all employees that relate to emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Furthermore, on-site measures like protective equipment, regular inspections, identifying & eliminating unsafe working conditions and practices facilitate a safe workplace for our workforce.
Our ongoing training on safety procedures, personal conduct, safety discipline, accident reporting, personal protection, attention to tools & equipment, and first aid best practices help us to maintain a professional and safe working environment.
At OSCE, workplace safety is obligatory, and providing the right conditions and procedures for our workers will always be an essential aspect of our company culture. That's why we strive to further develop, improve and refine the working conditions of our workers and make the personal safety of every employee our primary concern.
Protective & Safety Equipment
• Head Protection (Safety Helmet) - Helmets shall be worn for the protection of heads from impact and penetration from falling and/or flying debris or objects; from limited electrical shock. Management shall make sure the helmet meets company, local & international stan-dards.
• Eye & Face Protection (Safety glass & face shield) - Shall be required where there is reason-able probability of injury to face & eye. Eye protection will be provided and used where machines or operations present hazard or potential injury from flying objects or splashing liquids
• Foot Protection (Safety shoes) - Safety-toe footwear shall be worn in all situations where damage can occur from falling or sharp objects. Management shall make sure the footwear meets company, local & international standards.
• Hearing Protection (Earplug / ear muffs) - Shall be used to prevent damage from excessive noise.
— Hand Protection (Safety Glove) - Shall be worn for protection of hands/fingers from sharp objects.
• Coverall - snail be worn to protect the body from dust/dirt and avoid loose clothing.

Information to personnel

1. All employees shall attend staff induction before start work (held by the H.R. & Administration Manager calling in subject experts as necessary). In particular Quality, Health, Safety & Environment regulations shall be covered. The employee shall sign a statement that he has attended the induction.
2. Tool Box Talk and other meeting shall be delivered to the work force as ongoing instruction, update and training.

Emergency Procedures

• Evacuation Plan & Emergency Assembly Area is provided in every establishment. office, accommodation and workshop in case of emergencies such as fire or any calamities. Signage also provided for the awareness of staff.
• Immediate emergency measures should be taken in\ case of accident and emergency situation in the workplace. Efforts shall be made to mitigate the possible occurrence for those that presently occurring.
• Any vigilant person should immediately report the accident and emergency situation to site supervisor, team leader, project manager and QHSE manager.
• When the effect of accident and emergency situations that occur in the workplace become moderate as a results of emergency measures, the site supervisor, team leader, project manager and QHSE manager should take the relief measures and the corrective action taken.
